Here's a look at our 100th Day of School. The grade ones worked their way through 4 different stations with the other grade ones and twos in the open area. They played games, made a collaborative art project and made 100th day crowns.
The kindergarten kids made 100th day necklaces with cereal. We counted out 10 groups of ten and worked on our fine motor skills as we threaded the cereal onto stings. We also practiced printing our numbers making tags for every group of 10.
More grade one stations.
100 handprints
finished necklaces
After recess, we worked together in cooperative teams. The task was to work together to come up with a plan for how to build one structure using all 100 cups. Some teams set to work quickly. Others took longer to come up with a plan, but in the end each group was successful!
Yesterday, these letters came home for the Kindergarten families. They are the results for the hearing and vision screening. Please look in your child's backpack if you haven't already seen it.
And here is a look at our 100th day projects, so fantastic!
