some great building
the Grade Ones brought home a spelling booklet today to work on throughout the week. We have been introducing word families and then making as many words as we can with the families. This week it is "am". All the kids (grade ones and kindergarteners) worked to build the words and then the grade ones chose 7 to write down and bring home to practice over the week. There are some little activities to work on at home and a place to write the words again. These booklets do not nee to come back to school at the end of the week, they can stay at home. They are a way for you to reinforce the learning that is happening at school.
