We had a birthday kid yesterday. Our newest 5 year old! He was the special helper and brought a birthday book to share with the class (we loved it!). Happy birthday!
When I asked about this drawing he told me it was an abstract (!)
Busy in the kitchen
Giving the doggies their food.
Making a delicious dinner.
The beginning of another abstract.
Spreading the love
rainbows all around the paper
some great collaborative work
And now on to today....
The kindergartens learned about growth patterns while the grade ones were at guided reading. Can you figure out what a growth pattern is?
Sorry for the blurry pictures, but I didn't want to leave them out!
We had such a busy and productive day today...
we printed letters, made skeletons with Ms Branion, finished our vampires, drew pumpkins, completed one page of drawing (and grade 1s writing) of a Halloween booklet, the grade1s went to guided reading and the kindergarteners practiced rhyming and printing and naming letters, we went to Music, and had centre time/choosing time. We also had our first earthquake drill today. Here's what it looked like......
The kids were absolutely amazing and did exactly what they were supposed to.
One more D sharing....Daddy
Here's a look at our vampire and skeleton artwork that is now hanging in the hallway. Take a look the next time you are in the school.
