Here is a tiny glimpse into our first few days together.
A tower bigger than the kids!
Ms Zubic made "Jitter Jars" with the grade 1s. They are helpful in times when we need to take a few minutes and calm our minds and our bodies.

a bunny stuffie named "Meow"
a pug hat(?)....no, a pug stuffie named Max
a beach treasure that was a gift from a grandmother
a picture of when she was a baby and she looks just like her baby sister! The frame has sparkles in it that move when you shake it, just like a snow globe
a favourite transforming toy
a head lamp (another grandmother gift), a magnifying glass, and a compass. All he says he needs now is a chisel and a hammer!
a bracelet that was a souvenir from a trip to Hawaii
a picture of the uniform that she used to wear at school in Brazil
some great collaboration and cooperation
