So Impressive!

IP has been busy this week too. Look at the details she added to her frog (lips, eyelashes and fingernails....love it!)

Her family has a garden. They are growing beets. IP spent some time counting the three rows of 10 plants and figured out that they have 30 beet plants! That is the most delicious sounding math ever!

Another Busy Week at Home

MP has been busy again this week. She's been doing lots of word work.

It looks like she was doing rubbings of some seashells, exploring their texture and recording it on paper. 

This is interesting! I think she used a pen with special ink that can be seen when you shine a special light on it.

She followed my art lesson "taking a line for a walk"

She wrote some similes...love them!

And it looks like she learned about chemical changes by baking cookies! What a yummy way to learn!

she tallied the things that she found in her yard....that is a LOT of plants!

Kite Flying Fun!

MP shared some photos with me from her week last week. She flew a kite (we had some perfect kite flying days recently) and has been working hard on all kinds of projects at home.

Texture Walk

KA has been busy at home and outside too. He's been following along with our drawing lessons, writing/drawing about what he did on the weekend, having some fun on a swing, and he went on a texture walk at the beach.
